Buganda Kingdom Premier Charles Peter Mayiga says there is no guarantee that the kingdom will rally its support behind Bobi Wine if he finally stands for the 2021 general elections.

Katikkiro Mayiga says the Buganda Kingdom does not support or oppose anyone, it has its own interests and they are wrapped up in five key pillars.

“Whoever wants our support should come over and tell us he’s going to support us. Respect our heritage and king, we want a federal system of government, we want to protect our land and borders, we want good economic programs and unity of the people,” Mayiga said while appearing on Shaka Ssali’s Straight Talk Africa show that airs on Voice of America.
