After undergoing intensive preparation at Startimes and Namboole stadium for the past two weeks in a residential camp, a 20-man final Uganda Cranes COSAFA bound team has been named and it is jet off to Durban City, South Africa today afternoon at 3pm.
The squad has Charles Lukwago (KCCA FC) and James Alitho (URA FC) as goalkeepers. Paul Willa (Police FC), Kizza Mustafa (KCCA FC), Revita John (Express FC), Isinde Isaac (K-Jinja S), Hassan Musana (KCCA FC), Mujuzi Mustafa (Proline FC), Muzamiru Mutyaba (KCCA FC), Kagimu Shafik Kuchi (URA FC), Kasozi Nicolas (KCCA FC), Mbowa Paul Patrick (URA FC), Kayiwa Allan (Tooro United FC), Balinya Juma (Police FC), Mucureezi Paul (Mbarara City FC), Senkatuka Nelson ( Bright Stars FC), Anukani Bright (Proline FC), Serunkuuma Dan (Vipers SC), Birungi Komunda Micheal (Express FC) and Isiagi Opolot Daniel (Al Nasir) as the outfield players.

I have full confidence in my players and i expect them to deliver’ Said Abudallah Mubiru who is handling the team in the absence of Head coach Sebastien Desabre currently in Abu Dhabi with the Uganda Cranes AFCON Squad.
Uganda Cranes will begin the tournament at the quarterfinal stage against Lesotho on Saturday June 1.
