She is the bubbly, ‘chatterbox’ lady who has been running XFM’s early morning show from 6-10 am, alongside DJ Cisse. One of the most prized assets that Vision Group-owned XFM has been relying on.

Word reaching us is that Maritza ‘Mama K’la’ Byoga has quit XFM for Nation Media-owned KFM. A few days ago Maritza revealed that she was quitting XFM at the month’s end, but didn’t reveal where exactly she was headed.

However, earlier today the cat was partly let out of the bag as Maritza posted on her Facebook wall a picture of KFM colours featuring the station’s early morning show presenter Brian Mulondo. Maritza captioned the image: ‘Coming… Coming…” –an unmistakable revelation of where she is headed next in her radio career.

It might be remembered that KFM last month (just-concluded April) lost Mulondo’s morning show partner Malaika Nyanzi to Next Radio.

Followers responding to Martha’s revelation on her page have expressed a readiness to follow her wherever she goes so they can keep listening to her.
