Following the police reshuffle that was announced by the Inspector General of Police, Martins Okoth Ochola over the weekend, Commissioner of Police (CP) Fred Enanga has officially taken over the office police spokesperson from Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Emilian Kayima.
While addressing the media at the Police Headquarters in Naguru during the handover ceremony on Wednesday morning, Kayima noted that despite all the challenges, he has handed over the office with his head up high.
Fred Enanga, who has worked in the office before, pledged to work with everyone saying “the sky will not even be the limit.”
Enanga will be deputized by Polly Namaye, the same duo that was dropped in 2016 by former IGP, Kale Kayihura leaving them with no known deployment.
Kayima who was appointed to the office in November 2017 replacing of AIGP Asan Kasingye has now taken over as the In-charge of Information and Publication under the Directorate of the Chief Political Commissar.
