The 10th Edition of the East African Parliamentary games was officially opened yesterday by Speaker Rebecca Kadaga and team Uganda has started with full force in the games that are being held in Kampala set to run up to December 18, 2018.

In the football match between Ugandan male Parliamentarians and their fellow legislators from Burundi, the hosts have emerged victors after beating Burundi 1 – Nil, thanks to a goal from Kampala Central Member of Parliament Muhammad Nsereko at St Mary’s Stadium in Kitende.

Volleyball.

The Ugandan male legislators have followed in the footsteps of the female colleagues who earlier in the day beat, again, Burundi lady Parliamentarians 68 – 11 and 3 – 0 in netball and volleyball respectively.

The ongoing games will have East African member states Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania and Burundi compete in football, netball, darts, athletics, basketball, golf, volleyball and a tug of war that will separate the men and women from boys and girls.
