“I’m fed up of Uganda” – Bryan White cries out as his cars are seized for failure to clear a debt of over Shs553m

Recently, we reported about how the Mapeera Home of the Elderly was still waiting on a Shs70 million pledge Bryan White made to them in September last year. Looks like the pencil-thin socialite is not about to fulfil his pledge as he is drowning in debt.

Yesterday, Police and court bailiffs raided his house in Buziga and seized his cars for failure to clear a debt of US$150,000 (about Shs553m). According to the court bailiffs, Bryan White, real name Brian Kirumira acquired a Mercedes Benz Cross Country priced at US$250,000 (about Shs921m) but only paid US$100,000 (about Shs368m) about a year and a half ago and has since failed to clear the remainder.

Captain Mike Mukula, one of the people that sold cars to Bryan White said that the socialite used the President’s name to acquire the cars and default on payments.

“I am fed up of Uganda. I got fed up of Uganda a long time ago. They are finding a way to put me down,” a rather agitated Bryan White said as he was escorted by Police officials to Police.

Bryan White is not only facing arrest over unpaid debt for his posh cars, he is also facing eviction from his rented mansion in Buziga over rent arrears that have accumulated over a period of seven months.
