Sudanese Army General claiming ownership of Promoter Balaam’s businesses in S. Sudan, seeks Museveni’s help

Businessman and events promoter, Balaam Barugahara is in distress as a yet-to-be identified Army General in South Sudan wants to take over all his investments in South Sudan.

Balaam held a presser yesterday and revealed how he has risked his capital investing in South. Sudan. He said however a general inSouth Sudan is plotting to claim his property that includes a building, a radio station and a mineral water company.

The promoter disclosed that his landlady with whom they have a 25 year lease agreement is conniving with the General to cheat him.

However, he said he has already written to President Yoweri Museveni to intervene in the matter.

“Since Museveni is the chief coordinator of peace talks in S. Sudan, I have already written to him to help me talk to his fellow General,” Balaam said.

Over the weekend, Balaam’s business partner Andrew Leju was allegedly kidnapped by gunmen in Juba, South Sudan and whisked off to an unknown place.

All his mobile phones have since been switched off and efforts by his family members and colleagues to trace his whereabouts have been futile.
