Triplets Ghetto Kids to be evicted from their multi-million house after failing to meet full payment

Triplet Ghetto Kids are in a fundraising panic after the landlord of their multi-million house in Makindye sent the group an eviction notice for failing to meet the payment plan.

While appearing on a local TV station, their manager Kavuma Dauda who looked puzzled revealed that the group will soon be homeless.

“We are going to be evicted anytime because we have not yet paid the money. French promised us more money to complete the house but we spent most of it in renovations since the house was not fully furnished. Things haven’t been moving so well for us, because I have to pay their school fees, the medical bills. So we either have to sell the house and get our money that we put in or pay the owner’s balance,” Dauda said.

He disclosed how he has made further efforts of meeting government officials like the Speaker of Parliament Hon Rebecca Kadaga to help on the cause but no answer yet.

Princess Victoria Nkinzi and her fiance Gareth Oyango.

The ‘Duke of Kigo’ Gareth Onyango must be the happiest man in Uganda after winning himself Kabaka’s daughter Princess Victoria Nkinzi. The renowned bar events guru last week took the gentleman’s staircase and proposed to Nkinzi in Thailand where the couple had travelled to celebrate the Princess’s birthday.

Their engagement went viral prompting a series of controversial stories as the public claimed that it is against Buganda culture for a Princess to get married to a person from another tribe. However, the Buganda Kingdom spokesperson Ow’ekitibwa Noah Kiyemba said it is possible for a Buganda Princess to marry someone from another tribe since she is over 18 now.

Frank Gashumba’s fraud case dismissed

Frank Gashumba.

Buganda Road Chief Magistrate’s Court dismissed the 28 counts of charges slapped to government critic Frank Gashumba two years ago. Gashumba was arrested in October 2017 and detained for a full week on grounds of fraud, forgery, possession of narcotic drugs, and impersonation among others.

Gashumba was arrested and accused together with his brother Innocent Kasumba and his friend city businessman Ismail Kiyingi. The three were granted bail a week later with conditions to leave their passports in court and ask for permission whenever they wanted to travel.

Grade One Magistrate Stella Amabilis dismissed all charges citing lack of evidence due to failure for the State to produce a single witness to testify against the accused since their arrest in 2017.

“This case is hereby dismissed for want of prosecution and the accused is accordingly discharged,” Amabilis ruled.
