This year’s December edition of Blankets and Wine is literally marked on every party animal’s calendar as a must-attend event to end the year with a fun-filled unforgettable music experience.

Afro-fusion music lovers are excitedly anticipating an incredible show and keeping social media buzzing about American rapper, singer and songwriter Jidenna flying into Uganda as the headlining artist for the afro-fusion music festival that is powered by Tusker Malt Lager.

The rapper is popularly known for many hit songs like Classic Man, Bambi, Little Bit More, and Boomerang among others which instantly became favourites among many Ugandan music lovers.

“For eight years now, Tusker Malt Lager in partnership with Blankets and Wine has brought music lovers the best afro-fusion music experience while providing the biggest platform for afro-music acts to express themselves. This December will be an even bigger and wilder unforgettable moment and we cannot wait to share it with you,” Cathy Twesigye, Brand Manager Tusker Malt.

In addition to Jidenna, the event organisers House of DJs have collected a fresh group of rhythmic-filled artistes like Toniks and Evon that will perform alongside Mwami Kiyimba, Shawn Maine, DJ LL and Apio Moro who are sure to set ablaze the Cricket Oval with their unique sound.

Kampala city slayers are already visiting the shopping malls looking for the perfect outfit, the perfect wines and preparing their blankets for an electrifying Sunday picnic-themed music festival coming in only five weeks.

Other partners to the event include Coca Cola, Next Radio, Stanbic Bank, Silk Events, Roke Telecom and Kampala Sun.

If you haven’t yet bought your ticket, make sure to get the tickets that are already on sale at Shs100,000 online via www.mticket.252.co.ug or dial *252# on all mobile networks.
