Renowned National Resistance Movement (NRM) fanatic, Balaam Barugahara has threatened to quit Kampala and go back to his home village in Masindi as enormous members from the public continue to flock his office asking for financial assistance.

The events promoter said he is not a leader in the NRM but rather a mere supporter just like the majority of Ugandans.

“Most people maybe think I am the one who started NRM because they always come to me asking for free money,” Balaam said in an interview.

Balaam said he is currently over-stressed by the act of finding beggars at his office every day. He said instead of people approaching the party leaders or offices, they come to him for help.

“I am also demanding billions of money from NRM for the work I have done for them years back. But I am a patient man who has kept on waiting,” Balaam said.

He further revealed that all the work he currently does for NRM is for free and it is because he loves President Museveni.

“All the things I do for NRM, I do them with my money. President Museveni has never given me a single coin,” he said before hitting at the recent trend of people just shouting and getting money from the president.

“I love NRM as a party but some beggars are making life difficult. There are people who just shout for a few days and they give them free money,” he stated.
