State Minister for Youth and Children Affairs, Hon.Florence Nakiwala Kiyingi and Uganda’s youngest rapper Patrick Ssenyonjo popularly known as Fresh Kid are extremely on good terms as the minister has appointed the rapper as an ambassador.

Speaking at the swearing-in ceremony of the 2019/2020 new prefects’ body at Kampala Parents School today Friday, Minister Nakiwala said Fresh Kid together with newly appointed school head girl Maria Ahumuza and head boy Carlton Muyimba will be the face of the campaign that is aimed at  rehabilitating and resettling street children.

According to the minister, the trio will be presented before the Prime Minister Ruhakana Rugunda for approval. The campaign is targeted to ensure that vulnerable children do not return on streets across the country.
