Museveni says If Bobi Wine has nothing different to offer, he should embrace what is on ground

While on his way to Japan where he will be attending the seventh edition of the Tokyo International Conference for African Development Summit, President Yoweri Museveni took some time to read through his social media comments and immediately issued responses.

A one Godfrey Begumisa wrote a comment accusing President Museveni for always using state machinery to suppress his opponents. For this Begumisa advised Presidential hopeful Bobi Wine to go to the bush if he wants power.

Museveni responded to Begumisa saying since NRM came to power, it’s no longer necessary for someone to go to the bush. He said they’re various democratic means to challenge government.

“Politics is about competing policies. Our policy is well stated. Let the others also state theirs,” Museveni replied.

“If they do not have anything different, then support what is on the ground,” he added.
