Ziggy Wine a social media blogger and close friend to Bobi Wine who has been missing for three weeks from his home in Nakulabye has been found half dead at Mulago Hospital.

It is alleged that Ziggy Wine was kidnapped by unknown individuals, tortured and later dumped at Mulago with his left eye plucked out.  According to James Mubiru, People Power coordinator in Lubaga North, the victim has been posting Bobi Wine related activities on his social media pages.

It continues, “Ziggy is in such a bad state that he lost nearly all his senses and now survives on God’s mercy. This is one of the very many saddening stories across the country sanctioned by the very people whose duty is to protect us.”

Police is yet to make an official statement about the incident and our efforts to reach out Kampala Metropolitan Spokesperson Luke Owoyesigire were unfruitful since our calls went unanswered.
