The East African Acts performing at the August Edition of Blankets and Wine

Blankets and Wines fans and party animals are eagerly awaiting the reveal of more acts that will be performing at the 23rd edition of the Tusker Malt sponsored Blankets and Wine come August 25.

House of DJs, the organizers of the event have been playing the enticing game by unveiling their artists one by one and so far we have learnt of the collection of East African artists set to take center stage at the picnic themed music festival.

Representing Rwanda is Mugaba, an energetic rising star based in Uganda who is best known for his single dubbed, “In My Bed” and “Controller.” Mugaba is one talented artist to look out for who is on the path to releasing club bangers both locally and internationally.

Eli Maliki is a half Kenyan half Ugandan neo- soulful artist who infuses his music with sounds from his African heritage. His first album ‘Hey” has enchanted the ears and souls with its melodic rhythms created by the talented musician.

Other artists confirmed are Dee Mike, Mo Roots and Herbert Ssensamba have been confirmed as the fresh new sound for this August edition.  With a big exciting reveal for the main acts dropping in a matter of days, we are on the watch and ready to break the news.

Blankets and Wine fans are gearing up for the event next month at the Lugogo Cricket Oval with celebrity hosts Deedan and Shakib also confirmed to take center stage of the afro-fusion music festival.
