Last week, a short video of Winnie Nwagi performing at St. Mary’s College Kisubi (SMACK) in a raunchy way with the boys at school made rounds on social media and the curvy songstress has received a lot of criticism for that.

In the video, Nwagi, real name Nakanwagi Winnie is seen singing, rubadubbing and allowing students to touch and feel her body together with her dancers.

It is after this that the Pornography Control Committee has summoned the Mataala singer and forced her to apologise.

“I always try to keep my fans entertained and sometimes I go overboard and my Smack performance was one of those. I should have done better and to all offended parties, am sorry. Myself and my team are committed to always offer value to clients within limits of the allowed moral standards and shall always remind ourselves of that.  Thank you,” Nwagi posted on her Facebook page.

Swangz Avenue, a management and record label where Nwagi is signed to also apologized for the same and said they have “investigated the incident and measures have been put in place to avoid a repeat of the same.”
