Grace Nakimera crosses over to gospel music, advises fellow musicians to quit secular music and do the same

Singer Grace Nakimera has been on a long music break but she seems to have resurrected through gospel music.

During an interview on a local Christian channel, Nakimera said that she found purpose in singing gospel music. Nakimera also said she does not wish for anybody to join secular music.

“I would not advice anybody to join secular music industry,” Nakimera said.

The singer also said that she didn’t join the gospel industry to get money but her love and passion for the genre is the reason she crossed over.

“It’s not about money. Why? Because I’m serving Christ, I’m doing my part, I’m putting that little brick on there and I am doing the best that I can with the little that I have.” Nakimera said.

The Kawonawo hitmaker has already released a gospel song titled “Anviriddeyo” which she claimed to be based on her true life story.

“This particular song is a true life story. It’s kind of my experience, how God came through for me in so many ways, unconditionally. I was hopeless. So whatever you hear in the song is a true life story. This is real music from my heart, from a real place,” she explained.
