Chris Obore bashes “idlers and self-righteous individuals” making noise for Pastor Bugingo; “where were you when he was marrying Teddy?”

Parliament of Uganda’s Director of Communication and Public Affairs, Chris Obore has advised those who have intensely picked interest in the Pastor Bugingo-Teddy saga to divert their energy in dealing with issues that directly benefit them.

Obore asserts that Bugingo and Teddy have immediate people who can help them quickly sort their issues out.

“What will noise makers say if Pastor Bugingo reconciles with his wife? Entering into people’s affairs uninvited is sometimes idleness or self-righteousness. You are not Teddy’s child or parent. So what is the hullabaloo about?” Obore said.

“Did you participate in making Teddy accept to marry Bugingo? If you did not then why do you want to participate in their separation? Are you the courts of law? Arguing for or against married people is the work of lawyers if the matter is before the court. The rest is just noise,” he added.

Yesterday, police blocked and arrested women activists who had gathered at Bat Valley Primary School to kick off their matching protest from the school to the office of the Speaker of Parliament.

The rowdy group wanted to petition the speaker over Bugingo’s ‘ill’ utterances about his wife Teddy Naluswa.
