Museveni replaces police officers with army officers in a new police reshuffle

President Museveni has once again named more Uganda People’s Defense Forces (UPDF) officers in the new Uganda Police Force reshuffle.

The four new UPDF recruits in the police force include; Brig. Jack Bakasumba who has been serving as the commander Peace Support Operations Training Centre in Singo, Nakaseke district is now the new  Chief of Joint Staff, Brig.Godfrey Goloba has replaced AIGP Haruna Isabirye as the Director of Human Resource and Training, Col.Jese Kamunanwire has replaced AIGP Moses Balimwoyo as the Director Human Resource and Administration and then  Col.Chris Sserunjogo Damulira appointed as the Director of Crime Intelligence.

AIGP Balimwoyo has been transferred to the directorate of Interpol and International Relations, AIGP Isabirye has been seconded as the police attaché to the Uganda mission in New York while Senior Commissioner of Police, Benson Oyo Nyeko who has been the director for Interpol has now been sent to Afripol headquarters in Algeria as the Police liaison officer whereas SCP Chombe has been sent to Interpol as the deputy director.
