It has come to our notice that the leader of the People Power Movement, Hon. Robert Kyagulanyi intentionally missed the State of the Nation Address yesterday.

Though the address happened when Bobi Wine was away on his European tour in the Netherlands and Denmark, People Power spokesperson Joel Ssenyonyi says the team had already agreed that the address wasn’t a better plot for them.

“State of the Nation is the same old stuff,” Ssenyonyi told us on a phone interview

“Bobi Wine is not only in Europe for the music tour, he has to attend engagements with Ugandans in the diaspora,” he further said.

The movement mouthpiece also revealed that as soon as Bobi Wine returns, they are set to give their side of the address.

“We are planning a re-battle to deliver to Ugandans what we think is the real state of the nation address,” Ssenyonyi stated.
