Photos: NTV anchor Kyamagero sets trend with civil wedding, ‘destination reception’ to crown the celebration at an island this weekend

Talk of setting trends! NTV news anchor Andrew Kyamagero is officially off the hook, but how he has done it! The veteran journalist has this afternoon undergone a civil wedding, exchanging vows with his long-time fiancee Linda Ndagije (with whom he has a three-year-old son) at the Registrar General’s Office at George Street, Kampala.

There was a small party of witnesses as the now Mr. and Mrs. Kyamagero exchanged their vows before a representative of the Law. Among the guests were Kyamagero’s fellow NTV news anchor Faridah Nakazibwe, comedian Salvado Idringi, to mention a few.

The wedding follows Linda Ndagije’s introduction of Andrew to her parents that took place at the parents’ home in Luweero last month. And the civil wedding is not all the Kyamagero’s will be up to regarding their union.

The couple will host their guests to a ‘destination reception’ at an island, Lakeside Adventure, in Mukono this Saturday (again talk of setting trends).
Kyamageros’ friends and family will access the venue by boat from Ggaba beach or by road through Mukono.

And even before the reception, this evening (Wednesday 15, 2019) the journalist who is popularly known as Omuntu wa Wansi has a stag party (kasiki) at Wave Longue, where he has invited all his fans to come and party away with him.

Done deal: The Kyamageros display their marriage certificate.
The wedding was witness by a close-knit selection of family and friends.
Jovial: With comedian Salvado as his best man, Kyamegero was in high spirits.
