Purple Party tours are growing strong every year and on Easter Monday, the event that’s come to be referred to as the biggest party on the local entertainment calendar excited thousands of fans at Nimrod Beach in Luweero district.

And Uganda’s youngest rapper Fresh Kid once again that he is a boy shooting for the stars, as he stole the show. Mc Kats, who also has his roots in Luweero, excited the fans to a remarkable degree, but it is Fresh Kid who proved the homeboy locals were gladdest to see up on the podium, as he was all through his performance given heroic cheers. Besides, his own tracks of ‘Bambi’ and ‘Banteeka’, the younger rapper jammed in several free style tracks that kept fans on their feet.

The music buffet that was served revelers also saw various other local artistes take to the stage, who included: Spice Diana, Nina Roz, Hanson Baliruno, Vinka and Maureen Nantume among others.
