Former Presidential Candidate, Rtd. General Benon Biraaro has said that he believes Kyadondo East Member of Parliament Robert Kyagulanyi Sentamu (aka Bobi Wine) still needs time and training as far as his presidential ambitions are concerned.

Speaking on NBS TV yesterday evening, the 2016 presidential aspirant expressed what he called his honest view, that although Hon. Kyagulanyi Sentamu has some good qualities that can make him a good leader of Uganda, he nonetheless rushed to express interest in the country’s top office and would have done better considering the elections beyond 2021.

“It is too early to make sense of his declaration. He should have waited before making such a big statement,” Gen BenonBiraaro said, adding that
Bobi Wine still needs a lot of guidance to better himself.

On the upcoming 2021 election, the former presidential candidate is of the view that the disunity in the opposition might give president Museveni a soft landing. He says the opposition must immediately find a solution to their differences to avoid losing yet again to incumbent President Museveni.

On his intentions of rerunning for the presidency in 2021, Biraaro says his Farmers Party is yet to come to a conclusion on whether they will have a candidate on the ballot.
