Uganda Police has conceded that the late Ssebulime was killed illegally when he was shot dead by officer on a Patrol after he was suspected of having trailed ICT Junior Minister Idah Nantaba.

Speaking to the media this evening, Enanga said that investigations have revealed that Ssebulime was indeed on his own journeys going to visit his children at school when he was shot.

“He had eats and drinks in his bag and was heading to visit his children at school, ” Police Spokesperson Fred Enanga said while addressing the media at the Police headquarters in Naguru.

Enanga also added that the Police Patrol that handled the matter gave them false information. He said the case is now going to be treated as murder, with the Police officers who were on the patrol answering in the courts of Law.

Ronald Sebulime was shot and killed after he was suspected of following the State Minister for ICT Ida Nantaba with intentions of causing harm. This happened in Naggalama along the Mukono-Kayunga Road last Sunday.
