Mr. Sam Obbo, the Press Secretary to the Speaker, reiterated the view of Kadaga’s mum that she has began recurating. However, he added that the Speaker might spend some more time at the hospital before she can be discharged:

“She is still in the hospital and I don’t think she can be discharged at this time. It is still too early to discharge her,” Obbo told the media.

However, Obbo added that despite the Speaker being a public figure, her health condition must remain private and therefore only close family members will be allowed to access her meanwhile.

Kadaga fell sick last week and was rushed and admitted to Nakasero Hospital where she spent almost a day before she was flown toAga Khan Hospital in Nairobi, Kenya.
