Bobi Wine grooms future leader, daughter contests for leadership post at school

It seems like musician-cum-politician Hon. Kyagulanyi Ssentamu’s campaign of getting Ugandans at all levels to be politically aware (to participate in the politics of their country at all levels) won’t stop inspiring even in his own family. The Ghetto gladiator’s younger brother Mike Mukwaaya (popularly known as Mikie Wine) has already indicated how his big brother has inspired him to seek the Kyadondo East parliamentary seat to replace Bobi Wine who is eyeing the presidency.

And now Bobi Wine’s young daughter Shalome Namagembe Kyagulanyi has picked the bug from her father, albeit at her own level , as she has come out to vie for a leadership post at her school of Naalya Hillside Primary School.

Shalome Namagembe Kyagulanyi is contesting for the post of Library prefect at Hillside primary school, and the Primary Five pupil has already embarked on campaigning, with flyers expressing her interest in the post already in circulation at the young girl’s school.

Word we have received from the school is that Hon. Kyagulanyi’s daughter is actually very popular among her fellow students, and her victory is already a given. We have told that her fellow pupils regularly sing “People Power” whenever she gets to campaign, excitedly cheering her on.

It might be remembered that Bobi Wine caused commotion early this year when he went to pick up his children from school.  A video which went viral had the excited school kids screaming the People Power slogan. ‘People Power, Our Power, they screamed .

Bobi Wine has indicated that he will most likely be standing for President of Uganda in 2021
