The government of Uganda has revealed that is is going to try and create 10,000 jobs for the masses through supporting the handicraft and souvenir making industry. This follows government’s securing of a USD 1.5 million (Ush5.5 billion)grant from the U.S government.

This development was revealed by the minister of Trade and Industry, Hon. Amelia Kyambadde, yesterday.
