Tamale Mirundi: the army can’t allow Bobi Wine to rule Uganda, Muntu is the only threat to Museveni

In response to People Power captain Bobi Wine’s revelation on CNN yesterday evening that he is seriously considering being on the ballot in the 2021presidential election, motor-mouthed Presidential Advisor on Media Issues Tamale Mirundi has said Bobi Wine can’t rule Uganda because he is no military man.

Speaking exclusively to Matooke Republic this afternoon, Mirundi said,

“Bobi Wine has no support from the army that liberated Uganda, they can’t let him rule the country,” Mirundi told Matooke Republic.

He added: “The army can’t allow a non-militant person to rule Uganda.”

Mirundi went on to say that Retired Maj. Gen. Mugisha Muntu is the only opposition politician with the potential to unseat Museveni and rule Uganda.

“Muntu is a child to the strong UPC member Enock Ruzima Muntuyere. President Obote attended the burial of Muntu’s father even when Muntu was a rebel in the bush at that time fighting against the Obote government. He is the real threat to Museveni in the opposition ranks.”

Mirundi went on to say that since Muntu has a strong UPC history and UPC is a fundamental political party in the history of Uganda’s politics, he has real clout. The blunt advisor went on to rubbish talks that Mugisha Muntu is an NRM mole, condemning the opposition for tarnishing such a man of integrity.

Tamale Mirundi also told Matooke Republic that the opposition has failed to oust President Museveni from power because they haven’t taken time to  study him and lay a strategy that can remove him from power . According to Mirundi, President Museveni isn’t easy to defeat because he is a lobbyist who senses his enemies from miles away and keeps awake while people are sleeping.
