We are not going anywhere, police should find us where we are- Weasel’s manager speaks out

Douglas Mayanja popularly known as Weasel, Geoffrey Kyagambidwa alias Chagga and Emotions Musinguzi, the current GoodLyfe manager are today supposed to report to the CID Headquaters in Kibuli.

However, this publication has learnt that Weasel and Manager Emotions are not stepping a foot in Kibuli.

“We are not going anywhere; police should find us where we are,” Emotions said.

The summons follow a cry from Radio’s mother Jane Kasubo who accuses them of duplicating and selling her late son’s songs.

In a statement Jane Kasubo recorded at the CID office, she says that her son’s songs are being reproduced and sold without the family’s knowledge.

Yesterday, CID spokesperson, SP Vincent Ssekatte confirmed that summon letters had been sent to the above Good Life Music Limited associates. Ssekate said since last year police has always sent similar letters but the addressed personalities have not always responded.

“These are the last summons we are sending to them. If they don’t appear here tomorrow [today] we shall issue arrest warrants. They were summoned late last year but they did not show up,” SP Ssekatte said.

Meanwhile, Weasel’s Manager also confirmed that the Moses The Great (MTG) listeners party is still on at Chameleone’s DNA lounge in Kololo today.
