Shortly after gracing Jamaica’s biggest music festival, the Rebel Salute, Bobi Wine has announced that he is heading to Washington DC in the United States of America for more performances under the Kyarenga Extra tour.
During the annual music festival held in Richmond Park, Bobi Wine bitterly lamented about his terrible experience with the Uganda government for brutally arresting, torturing and blocking his concerts.
“After being poor, and by 22 owning beach front property, I thought I had achieved something. But when I looked back and saw all of my childhood friends living in poverty, I realised that wasn’t all,” Bobi said.
And now Bobi Wine is seemingly having the last laugh. The People Power mastermind will now be performing in Washington DC at a Town Hall meeting as part of the Kyarenga Extra.
The show will take place on January 26, 2019 at Zion Lutheran Hall which is located on New Hampshire Avenue, Takoma Park.
