Kyadondo East Member of Parliament, Robert Kyagulanyi has laughed at the government for thinking that they have contained him by indirectly blocking his cash streams through stopping his music concerts.
According to Kyagulanyi commonly known as Bobi Wine, his opponents (government) are too slow and need over 15 years to understand his plan but by that time, he would have already attained his desired goal.
“If the government thinks that by blocking my shows, they can make me poor or that I am in politics for money, they need 15 years to get to the level I am. They are too slow. In fact, their thinking is on life support,” the legislator said.
Bobi Wine was responding to the remarks of the Minister without Portfolio, Al-Hajji Abdul Naduli who, when addressing the media at the Uganda Media Centre (UMC), advised the musician cum politician not to mess with the government because it has the capacity to make him go broke.
Bobi Wine says that Naduli is behind news and needs a software update if he thinks that money is still a motivating factor in his life. The MP added he had a time to make money and he made enough that he can no longer enjoy without the freedom that he is currently fighting for.
“I had time to make money and I made it. Now I want the freedom, Ugandans want freedom and it is our duty to fight for it. Even Naduli needs to join the struggle,” Bobi Wine said.
The Ghetto Gladiator also responded to claims that his People Power slogan “Twebereremu” is tribalistic arguing that those consider the phrase tribalistic are the tribalistic people but his is a citizen mobilisation for action against the”dictatorial regime” of President Yoweri Museveni.
