In his usual yet unusual English, the East African Legislative Assembly MP, Fred Mukasa Mbidde has resolved not to watch any more Uganda Cranes games at Namboole Stadium until Bobi Wine’s Kyarenga concert is cleared to proceed.
A very unamused Mbidde made the revelation on social media after the stadium’s management made a U-turn on hosting the much-anticipated concert on November 9 after FUFA raised concerns about the stadium’s standard.
“Uganda Cranes? Who’s Uganda is it anyway? I will not watch the Namboole Cranes until Kyarenga is free,” he stated.
Mbidde added that “Bobi Wine’s Kyarenga music concert is suffering a jerky, convulsive and fitful ban by the powers.” Adding that “such reprobation is being done by trick and bunco.”
The Democratic Party aficionado who is not ashamed of his People Power ties warned that Ugandans will not sit idly by and watch as people’s rights are violated.
“Ugandans will not kowtow to the degree of prestidigitation and wizardry exhibited as the subject of the intermittent bans by chicanery e.g security of weddings and football,” warning that Bobi Wine’s concert should be freed or else he pulls out something from his legal bag.
“Uganda government should free Kyarenga and stop this skulduggery, hanky-panky and jiggery-pokery lest we shall forget nationalism and begin a fresh search for our country,” he added.
