The weekend served us several activities. In the kickboxing world, all roads to Freedom City on Saturday as motor- mouthed kick boxer Moses Golola faced Umar Semata. The match ended a painful one to forget for Golola as lost for the first time to a fellow Ugandan.
In a phone interview with Matooke Republic, Golola Moses blames his defeat on the organisers saying the kick boxing federation only gave them five rounds instead of 15.
“I’m a champion and a fighter, I can never lose hope, true Semata won but I am still Uganda’s champion. Semata won because we fought for only five rounds in the next fight I want us to go for 15 rounds,” Golola stated.
Golola who weighed 76.2kg says is immediately resuming training because he has no time to ‘joke’ around but go back to serious business as he awaits official announcement of the rematch. Golola has now lost only five of his 42 bouts.
