Ugandan music heavyweight, Bebe Cool has been appointed by Uganda Stop TB Partnership and their Geneva Partners UN Office for Project Services (UNOPS) as Uganda’s Tuberculosis Ambassador.
As part of the deal, Moses Ssali alias Bebe Cool is attending a high-level meeting at the UN Head Quarters in New York that runs until September 27, 2018.
Besides meeting with high-level health funders at the meeting, Bebe Cool will be tasked with raising awareness about the disease in Uganda and beyond.
After his prestigious appointment, Bebe Cool told Matooke Republic that he is proud to take on the enormous responsibility to save lives adding that the campaign falls well under his already running ‘Golden Heart’ charity program which recently sent six children with heart complications to India for treatment.
