While addressing the nation on security issues at State House, Entebbe president Museveni taunted the ‘people power’ movement led by Kyadondo East MP Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine.

In his address, president Museveni stated that the victory in LC 1 elections demonstrated the masses’ support for the ruling party.

“These people (Bobi Wine) are not informed because people power was demonstrated recently in the LC one elections. What do they call that? Millions turned out in the 54,000 villages that voted and it was massive people’s power,”Museveni said.

He stated that the opposition will experience the same (defeat) come 2021 elections.

“I think that was real people power because many turned up and voted openly in flesh(lining) and not hiding in papers(ballots). If you are looking for people power you saw it but if you are waiting for it you will see it again(during the 2021 polls).”
