The police has raided Kampala’s printing hub, Nasser Road and arrested five businessmen found printing calendars, posters and T-shirt of Kyadondo East MP, Robert Kyagulanyi popularly known as Bobi Wine.
The police further confiscated their printers and materials already printed.
According to the Kampala Metropolitan Police Spokesperson, Luke Owoyesigire, the arrested will be charged with inciting violence.
“The message there [on the printed materials] was really inciteful and we acted on intelligence to make the arrests. The suspects are here at Central Police Station,” he added.
Bobi Wine and 32 other co-accused of treason were released on a non-cash bail of Shs10m and Shs5m by Justice Stephen Mubiru of Gulu High Court. They are expected to appear before the Chief Magistrates Court on Thursday, August 30.
