Revelers’ were yesterday Thursday treated to a show stopping musical extravaganza as the monthly evoke nights was hosting its fifth episode since the start of its second season this year.
Powered by Tusker Lite, the show that took place at AcChi restaurant in Bugolobi was a night fueled with theatrical performances of Spoken word, dance, vocal play, DJ Sessions, beat boxing and live band that went on throughout the show leaving groupies wanting more.
The musical inspired night dubbed the “The Trials of Noella “saw revelers treated to a one of a kind musical production that revolved around the dramatic story of Noella a girl from a humble background and her struggles to make ends meet.
“Evoke Night has come a long way, we are knee-deep in our second season and with every passing episode, we get better with much bigger inventions. Evoke is all about originality in a sense of us pushing boundaries all the while celebrating the arts in our country. The next edition will be announced soon, keep your eyes glued.” Said Amisha Mukasa evoke event’s organizer.
The night also featured performances from Tina Ford, Noble the Beat Boxer, Lus the Poet and an ecstatic performance from Illusion the all new evoke night band that left revelers wanting for more.
“Evoke nights is a chance for us to experience the different forms of art that are out there, a showcase that will gives us an insight in the different expressions of art so we can learn to appreciate it better”, said UBL’S Premium Brands Manager Grace Namutebi.
Evoke Night is a monthly event that has been recurrent since its debut in September 2017. The event’s main objective is to portray current life situations transpiring amongst the Ugandan youth, through entertainment ventures that will translate into inspiration moments for the youth to activate their passions and dreams that can only better the community and the county in the long run.
