Detained Kyadondo MP, Robert Kyagulanyi has finally been granted access to his personal doctor, Matooke Republic can confirm.
Contrary to President Museveni’s letter in which he said that Bobi Wine wasn’t tortured and neither had head injuries nor fractured bones, his doctor says the legislator could still not support himself to walk.
“He complained that he (Bobi Wine) could not feel his left part of the body so I asked that we scan him and see what the problem could be but we didn’t find the problem,” the doctor said.
According to Medard Lubega Sseggona, one of his lawyers, the scan was conducted at Kampala Imaging Centre in Kololo on Monday, August 20.
“He is better than he was in Gulu but his condition still remains bad. He has a swollen face, one eye remains red,” Sseggona said.
Sseggona, however, said that the condition of the other MPs arrested in Arua has improved although they have not got proper treatment yet.
The UPDF spokesperson, Brig. Richard Karemire said plans were in high gear to avail specialized treatment to remanded suspects in Gulu.
There has been growing concern about Bobi Wine’s health following reports that he was tortured to near death in Arua on Monday 14, 2018. Matooke Republic did an exclusive report on the incident.
