For any doubters in the capabilities of Gulu Woman MP as Leader of Opposition (LOP) in Parliament, this afternoon, she proved them wrong. After replacing Winnie Kiiza as the LOP, many have doubted whether she could live to the billing.
This afternoon, RT. Hon. Betty Aol Ocan moved a motion to have the House suspended to allow MPs to find their colleagues that were arrested and brutalised in Arua.
She also asked Speaker RT. Hon. Rebecca A. Kadaga to task security agencies to explain the whereabouts of MPs arrested in relation to the insecurity in Arua. RT. Hon. Ocan threatened that they will have no choice but to leave the plenary and hunt for colleagues.
Well, the Speaker has obliged and suspended the house!
