Yvonne Chaka Chaka was in town for a charity concert where she was performing alongside politician celebrity Bobi Wine.

The Princess of Africa as she is affectionately known used this platform to whisper some words of inspiration and wisdom to the young legislator that might just push him to run for the highest office in the land.

“Are you a rebel? Are you a good man?” she asked. “It is time for young people to take over,” the jubilant Chaka Chaka added.

“We look up to you. I look up to you. You are my hero! And you have to be those young children’s hero. We’ve got our hope in you.”

She further added that “the old guard has messed up. Don’t fail these children of Uganda whether they live in a shack, the ghetto, they are the children of Uganda and all they want is hope for tomorrow.”

As Bobi Wine smiled sheepishly, the songbird was not done impressing upon him. “You’ve got my support,” she said.
