The last time Museveni attended Bebe Cool’s concert was in a poorly shot video. More of the same?

It is a public secret that musician Bebe Cool, call him Moses Ssali, has been seeking audience with President Museveni in vain since last year.

Bebe finally got his chance over the weekend and even got the president to confirm attendance for the forthcoming Golden Heart charity concert at Kololo Airstrip.

From the State House meeting, it is believed that ‘Big Size’ left with a heavy brown envelope.

Sources privy to the meeting told Matooke Republic that Museveni commended Bebe for keeping him in the loop with what transpires in the entertainment industry.

Museveni, looking to win all the votes he can get, he promised to attend the highly anticipated charity concert on August 3.

Bebe Cool’s critics say however say that this is another political and marketing stunt for either men. Museveni’s loyalists will come to impress the big man – if he turns up at all.

The president was confirmed to attend the ‘Life of Bebe Cool’ concert at Serena Hotel on August 5, 2016, but instead, fans settled for a poor quality video of Museveni giving his usual lecture.

Expectant revellers including some cabinet ministers left grudgingly disappointed. Will the president make up for his absence this time? We wait to see.
