As the Kabaka, Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II marks 25 years at the helm of the Buganda Kingdom, Mengo is set to launch yet another product, the Olwendo Mineral Water.

The water will be the second in the Kingdom’s refreshment and beverage line after Engule, a locally brewed beer.

Dennis Jjuuko, the spokesperson of the Katikkiro of Buganda told Matooke Republic that the water is part of the Kingdom’s plan to reassert herself as a creative and innovation hub.

“We are in the celebration month to mark the Kabaka Silver Jubilee since the coronation. And as thus, the Katikkiro will launch this water brand on Tuesday, July 24,” he said.
