After the first two attempts of trying to meet the Inspector General of Police Martin Ochola turned chaotic, activist Stella Nyanzi and fellow women activists have finally met the police top officials at the headquarters in Naguru.
“ A big step has been made today. Twenty peaceful protesters from the Women’s Protest Working Group WPG are meeting with twenty of the top dogs of the Uganda Police Force. I salute Afande Mzeeyi, Afande Kasingye, Afande Manzi and Afande Nkwasibwe for making this meeting a reality!”Nyanzi posted on her Facebook page.
Nyanzi and other activist started their campaign to engage police on the recent rampant kidnaps and murder of women.
