On return from national duty in Niger on Monday, Denis Onyango made an appearance on NTV Press Box. Onyango thanked fans for appreciating players who have done well for the Uganda Cranes. According to the captain, such feelings inspire them to do more and uplift young stars.

I still have a lot to achieve, the only reason I am a bit better than others is because I have played for a longer time than most of the goal keepers at the National team and it is not easy”.
