Forbes has named Nataliey Bitature, daughter to business mogul Patrick Bitature as one of Africa’s young achievers. The prestigious list of 30 comprises of young individuals under the age of 30 across Africa who have excelled in the business, technology, and creative fields and making a name in the world.
The list mostly comprises of Nigerians but this time East Africa is also fairly represented with Nataliey alongside four other Ugandans.
Twenty eight-year-old Nataliey is the co-founder of Musana Carts which provides solar powered vending carts for Ugandan street food vendors. She is also chief of staff at Simba Group of Companies Uganda.
Among other Uganda young achievers that were named was 28-year-old Kemiyondo Coutinho an award winning playwright, Kevin Lubega, 28 the General Manager of Ezee Money, and 27-year-old Stacey Gillian Abe, owner of Afriart gallery.
However in the category of creative arts, East Africa was dealt a blow as none of its renowned music stars made it to the list. The list mostly had West Africans like Davido, Wizkid, Yemi Alade and South Africa’s Casper Nyovest among others.
Congratulations to you our young Ugandan achievers!
