22-year-old Kabale male student killed in girls’ dormitory

A 22 year old senior four student of Creamland High School who was on Wednesday night lynched by students of the neighboring Green Hills High School in Kabale municipality.

“The deceased has been identified as Nicholas Akampurira who was beaten to death by Green Hills High School students after he was caught in the girls’ dormitory. Akampurira was a former student of Green Hills who hails from Buhumba, Kamuganguzi sub county, Kabale district”, Campus Bee reported.

According to reports, Akampurira was lynched after being suspected as a thief, little did they know that he was a former student of their school.

According to Dickens Bindeba, the Kabale district police commander, Akampurira’s body was found lying in the school compound by the time they (police) arrived and all students had left for the first term holidays. Bindeba adds that investigations in the matter have kicked off.
