Buganda Katikkiro Charles Peter Mayiga this morning stopped his convoy along Sir Apollo Kaggwa Road to help an accident victim. The woman only identified as Kiconco was lying helplessly on the roadside after allegedly being involved in an accident.
Using Mayiga’s official vehicle, she was rushed to Kawempe Hospital where she is now receiving treatment.
“I think she may have been suffering from epilepsy as well… as she was found on the ground,” said an official who was part of Mayiga’s convoy.
The Buganda prime minister a few minutes later continued with his journey to Kyaggwe, where he is expected to address the Emmwanyi Terimba campaign.
