What a way to make a global impact! All eyes are on Joshua Cheptegei after winning two gold medals at the ongoing Commonwealth Games, Australia. Joshua started off the competition winning the 5,000m gold.

However, it’s the 10000m win that has left the world amazed. Joshua posted 27.19.62 which broke the 16-year-old Commonwealth Games record held by Kenya’s Wilberforce Taleh. Thanks to the pace set by Canada’s Mohammed Ahmed, Joshua came from a position behind as the race turned into a two horse race in the last round. Joshua left Ahmed chasing his shadow.
