Yes! It’s another one. Joshua Cheptegei has won another gold medal and Uganda’s third gold at the Commonwealth Games Australia. Confident Cheptegei led the pack in the earlier stages of the 10000m race.
He gradually drifted away from the leading pack leaving his competitors trailing behind. He posted 27.19.62 while Canada’s Mohammed Ahmed posted 27.20.56 and Kenya’s Rogers Kwemoi edged our very own Jacob Kiplimo to win bronze.
The other Ugandan in the race, Timothy Toroitich emerged seventh. Congratulations!
