Steven Kizza, an employee of an NGO based in Kamwokya, Kampala had travelled to Gulu on a work-related trip with colleagues. While in Gulu, they took off some time to have fun at Aruu falls.

According to reports, Kizza sat on one of the stones at the falls as his friends and colleagues captured the moment. Unknown to them, Kizza was gradually slipping down the falls. Before they realised it, he was out of sight and was in danger.
