Somalia Community Futsal League: Banaadir and Galmudug to build on their winning runs in the ‘play for unity’ league

A few days shy to the the third week, Banaadir and Galmudug remain the only unbeaten sides in the six team Somalia Community futsal league happening at the International Futsal courts in Mengo.

Today Friday January 19, both sides will be hoping to build on their winning runs as they face Hirshabeele and Jubaland respectively.

The tournament was activated to instill unity amongst citizens of Somalia living in Uganda and clubs were formed on the participant’s origin basis. Besides the above, Puntland, and K. Galbed are the other teams that are taking part in a round-robin league format.

The league is under the Futsal Association of Uganda calendar as confirmed by the  Futsal Association president Hamza Jjunju .

Today Somalia Community Futsal League Fixtures

(To be played at the International Futsal Courts, Mengo)

Hirshabeele FC v Banaadir FC, 5pm

Jubaland FC v Galmudug FC, 6pm

K/Galbeed FC v Puntland FC, 7pm
